Kristina Tran is a visual artist and graphic designer from Rochester, MN. She is always creating a piece of art, it’s her happy place and you could say a bit of an obsession! At her core she is an intuitive artist. Think of her work as a place where color, shape and texture meet! Manifested into psychedelic intricate abstract marker and pen illustrations, funky botanical paintings or puzzled together abstract paintings. She loves to experiment with different mediums, materials and textures; like recycled cardboard on canvas or stitching into canvas. It’s great when she can use unexpected materials that make viewers get up close and say, “what is that made of”? She loves when people’s eyes light up from all the color in her art, it brings joy to their day, and that is amazing!
